  • Jessica Renee Zamer

    FOUNDER

After undergoing open-heart surgery in 2003, I quickly learned the importance of body conditioning. Discovering Pilates and learning how to breathe and move properly became life-changing! After incorporating Pilates principles to my training I began to notice a huge difference in my performance. Beginning with Classical Pilates I quickly found myself wanting more and mixed Pilates with my strength training. I have been STOTT Pilates certified in Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrels for over 14 years and TRX Certified. My goal for Trek House is to provide individualized care to the Houston community.

    PILATES

Growing up in Hawai’i I spent most of my time outdoors; hiking, swimming, surfing, biking, you name it. These activities bought me happiness but over time I realized how “hard” I had been on my body. This realization brought me to Pilates. It became a way to heal, restore and increase my strength without risking injury. Pilates is not only exercise and physical therapy but also a mental therapy, aligning body, mind, and spirit. When I moved to Houston, I decided to explore my passion further by enrolling in the STOTT Pilates mat and reformer certification. My goal as a teacher is to create an environment that focuses on connecting mind and body through the power of breath, body awareness and strength in a welcoming community.

  • Johannah Thompkins

    PILATES

Movement has always been a cornerstone of Johannah's life. Before Pilates, workouts were her go-to method for focus, stress relief, and a mental escape. Then, her sister introduced her to Pilates, which was a new level of challenge and connection. Johannah instantly fell in love with the practice. This proved invaluable when she began experiencing issues with her sciatic nerve, Pilates became a powerful tool for managing the pain and regaining strength.

Johannah enjoys guiding others on their own Pilates journeys. She emphasizes that Pilates isn't about achieving an "ideal"—it's about personal growth, embracing one's unique body, and discovering strength and balance. Through movement, Johannah shares her love of Pilates to help others develop an understanding of their body's potential and inner strength.

  • Lisa Thompkins

    PILATES

Lisa wasn't always a fitness enthusiast. Before discovering Pilates, she hadn't found a workout routine that clicked. When she entered her first reformer class, everything changed.

A wife, mother, world traveler, lawyer, and "Chef Lili" to her big, close-knit family -- Lisa understands the importance of balance. Pilates is her anchor, a practice that keeps her centered, grounded and constantly challenged. Her love for the practice led her to pursue Peak Pilates certification.

Now, Lisa finds immense joy in guiding others towards their own sense of strength and inner peace through movement. Her passion for Pilates is a gift she loves to share with others, and she combines her love for movement with a deep understanding of the body's potential and capacity for growth.

    YOGA

In my twenties I started practicing yoga because my body was always in pain. I was fit and always exercising but something was missing. Seven years ago I started my first Vinyasana training in Houston. This is Yoga for fitness, it focuses on building muscle and losing weight. The same year I decided to travel to India to study hatha and meditation to focus on mindfulness, relaxation, stress relief, and techniques to combat anxiety and externalized feelings.

  • Tracy Zaidenweber

    PILATES

I found Pilates and fell in love with the way it made my body feel strong, yet supple and also helped me ope with the various injuries I had acquired over the years. I am an avid equestrian competing in Dressage. Riding horses requires an enormous amount of core strength to balance and stay on the horse! I am STOTT reformer certified and have noticed the strength, mobility and balance established through pilates has helped me to improve my riding. My favorite quote by Moshe Feldenkreis does a beautiful job of describing pilates, “The impossible becomes possible. The possible becomes easy and the easy becomes elegant.”

  • Alle Curry

    PILATES

My love for Pilates started when I was looking for a way to stay active without feeling like I was burning out all of my energy. Within a week of doing Pilates, it taught me that it’s more than just movements - it kept me consistent, grounded and always progressing after each session. Something that started as a way to stay active became a strong passion after I got surgery to remove multiple Fibroids. My recovery time was quicker than average because of how I built my core and mental strength through Pilates. Pilates has continuously helped me not just physically, but mentally and spiritually as well. My goal as an instructor is to support, guide and empower you through your fitness journey in all ways.

  • Halani Rodriguez

    STUDIO MANAGER

I am currently a student at The University of Houston studying to get my BFA in Graphic Design. As a child I have always gravitated towards design but never knew I would be pursuing it as a career! I really enjoy using my hands to create traditionally with analog methods and now digitally as well! Art and design has always been an outlet of relaxation and meditation for me and being in the studio has inspired me to try a new method of focus! Pilates has helped me look at working out in a new perspective.
